They do not increase the risk for attracting heart disease, and do not assist in how your brain functions. They are more nutritionally beneficial for you, and will help in your brain development.

Answer:

Unsaturated fatty acid can be defined as the fatty acid having at least one double bond in the fatty acid chain. This makes the structure loosely packed and non compact. This kind of a structure makes it more fluid.

Besides this fatty acid chain of saturated fatty acid has no double bonds in it which makes its structure compact and this makes its transport difficult across membrane.
