How do the congressional terms of Senators and Representatives differ

The legislative branch of the US Congress is composed of two branches. Senators serve in the Senate and Representatives serve in the House. Senators and Representative serve terms which differ in length.

Senators have a 6-year term length and can seek as many reelections as they wish. Representatives in the house have two year term lengths and can run for reelection as much as they want.
