Answer:

Kind of hard to answer that question but you could say Caesar's legions, the praetorian guards, Auxiliaries and of course the legionaries. Legionaries had to be over 17 yrs old and a roman civillian, and they were the elite roman infantry. They had to be fit and strong, if they didn't fit the right standards then they were rejected.
