a) Find the slope of the bike path.

(25, 120) and (50, 140)

Slope = (140 - 120)/(50 -25) = 20/25 = 4/5

Slope = 4/5

b) Find the slope of line from you to the bike path that is perpendicular.

Perpendicular lines, slope is opposite and reciprocal so slope = - 5/4

c) Which point would be the shortest distance to travel to get to the bike path?

Shortest distance will be (75, 160)
