Jamie bought a necklace at a department store for 23.50. Later that day, she saw the same necklace at a local jewelry store for only 18.80. Find the percentage that Jamie would have saved on the necklace had she bought it at the jewelry store instead

She could have saved 20% percent

18.80/23.50 =0.8

1-0.8=0.2

Multiply by 100 to find the percentage.

100 time 0.2 = 20%

Hope this helps.
