the slope is (y2 -y2)/ (x2-x1) = (8-2)/(6-3) = 6/3 =2

the point slope form of a linear equation is

y-y1=m(x-x1)

y-2 = 2(x-3)

y-2 = 2x-6

y=2x-4 (slope intercept form of the equation)
