Both mitosis and meiosis do cytokinesis so make sure you know which one the question is taking about.

Remember, cytokinesis is the cytoplasmic division of a cell at the end of mitosis or meiosis, bringing about the separation into two daughter cells.

Answer:

Mitosis:

1. Cell division begins, actinmyosin ring causes plasma membrane to begin pinching in.

2. Cell division is complete, two daughter cells form.

Meiosis:

1. Cell divides: chromosome number is unchanged.

Good luck!
