The difference in elevation is 16ft
From -2 to sea level (0ft) there is a 2ft difference
And from sea level (0ft) to the highest point there is a 14ft difference in elevation
14ft+2ft=16ft

The answer is 16 feet. All you have to do is subtract -2 from 14, in which you get 16.
