Is it possible to not have a hungry sense like, not know if you are hungry or not. Can this happen from constipation? I have constipation and I always feel not hungry, and then when I have a strange empty feeling in my stomach or uncomfortable I can't tell if its a belly ache or just I'm hungry. I need to know this I've had constipation for a week and a half since, and I feel like I've lost my hunger sense that tells when I am hungry or not.

They cause a gnawing feeling or an empty sensation in the abdomen. But hunger pangs can happen even if the body does not need food. If appetite loss causes someone to eat less food, they may also experience unintentional weight loss, tiredness, or nutritional deficiencies.

I don't think it's not possible to never know when you're hungry, however it may be hard to tell when you are hungry. To tell if you are genuinely hungry, you can check if you are angry, if your stomach is growling or if you wouldn't mind eating anything. You could also drink some water; if you can feel it in your stomach you need to eat.

Hope it helps, good luck! :)
