A translation is a transformation that occurs when a figure is moved from one location to another location without changing its size, shape or orientation.

There are four kinds of Transformation

1. Rotation

2. Reflection

3. Translation

4. Dilation

⇒While in first three, the two Preimage and Image are Congruent.And in Dilation,the two Preimage and Image are Similar.

⇒When a figure is translated, its orientation (Changes,) and the measures of its angles (Remains Same).
