I believe you're asking for a "How-to" on how you turn some kind of repeating decimal into a "proper" decimal?

Explanation:

most decimals are "proper" when they have a whole number

(1)

and a decimal repeating or not.

(1.333543232323)

(1.323)

if the decimal has 4 or more digits

(1.3232)

(1.32323)

etc

then it is im-propper.

in that case, make it a proper decimal by making it a duo-decimal. (not an actual term)

(1.32)
