Your wording is awfully confusing, I do apologize if this is incorrect. I surmised by your wording that you are solely getting chickens? the answer is 2,000 chicks per 100 dollars.

100 / .05 = 2000
The way I arrived at that answer is: 0.05 x 20 = 1 (the one represents the dollar amount for 20 chickens). Now you can go this route for the answer: $100 x 20 (chicks per dollar) = 2,000.

and to check your answer, you can multiply 2,000 by .05, your answer will be $100.
