65 = 2x + (3x - 5) + (4x + 2)

65 = 9x - 3

68 = 9x

(68)/(9) = x


2x = 2( (68)/(9) )

2x = (136)/(9)


3x - 5 = 3( (68)/(9) ) - 5

3x - 5 = (204)/(9) - 5

3x - 5 = (159)/(9)

3x - 5 = (53)/(3)



4x + 2 = 4( (68)/(9) ) + 2

4x + 2 = (272)/(9) + 2

4x + 2 = (290)/(9)
