Abstract linguistics is a linguistic theory that asserts that the more concrete your words, the clearer your communication?

Not exactly.

Language is an abstraction, and linguistics seeks the scientific study of this language, determining norms that enable understanding in time and space. So linguistic signs are usually interpreted literally. However, abstract language denotes a process of linguistic development according to which the terms used denote meaning farther from the literal. Abstract language is widely used in scientific terms through articles, dissertations and theses.
