The formula of a distance between two points A and B:

|AB|=√((x_B-x_A)^2+(y_B-y_A)^2)

We have A(6, 6) and B(2, 9).

Substitute:

|AB|=√((2-6)^2+(9-6)^2)=√((-4)^2+3^2)=√(16+9)=√(25)=5

Answer: 5 units.
