alright so to solve for pi you must move all the other variables to the left

v = (1)/(3) \pi {r}^(2) h
first divide the h as the opposite operation of multiplication is division

(v)/(h) = \frac{ (1)/(3)\pi {r}^(2)h }{h} \\ (v)/(h) = (1)/(3) \pi {r}^(2)
now you multiply each side by 3 or 3/1 to get rid of the fraction

(v)/(h) * (3)/(1) = (1)/(3) \pi {r}^(2) * (3)/(1) \\ (3v)/(h) = \pi {r}^(2)
now square root each side

\sqrt{ (3v)/(h) } = \pi
now that is your final answer
