So 4(2-d)>-12, simplify both sides of the inequality -4d + 8> -12, subtract 8 from both sides -4d+8-8>-12-8, -4d> -20, divide both sides by -4 which is -4d÷-4>-20÷-4, then the answer will come out to d<5.
