Analgesics are class of medication that is commonly used to relieve pain. There are many types of analgesics, and they work in different ways in the body. Analgesics include tylenol (acetaminophen), opoids such as oxycontin, and dolophine and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as aleve, and celebrex. Prolonged use of analgesics may be risky and its side effects include dizziness, skin itching, constipation and drowsiness.
