State the slope and y-intercept of y=5/3x-4

this is slope-intercept form

y = mx + b

m = slope and

y = y-intercept

So that means that 5/3 is the slope.

(Remember that when graphing the slope, it is RISE over RUN so you would go 5 UP and 3 to the RIGHT)
