Pay attention in class, take lots of notes. Do your homework, ask the teacher questions if you have them. Ask the teacher for extra credit if they do that. Focus on school before anything else can also help a TON! Do your homework right when you get home from school instead of procrastinating and then end up not getting it down. Hope this helps you out!
