  1. Both the cells carries same genetic material.
  2. Eucaryotes and Prockaryotes respire to release energy.
  3. The process of protein production is same for both the cells.

Difference/Contrast

  • The utmost difference is of nucleus, eukaryotes carries one, where as prokaryotes don't.
  • Eukaryotas are usually cellular and Prokaryotes are usually multi cellular.
  • Cell membrane is present in eukaryotes and absent in prokaryotes.
  • Lysosomes, peroxisomes, Endoplasmic reticulum, Mitochondria are present in eukaryotic cells, yet absent in prokaryotic cells.
