Because he resisted the Protestant Revolution, inappropriate, the belief of Martin Luther and William Tyndale. And he denied the king's division from the Catholic Church, declining to recognize Henry as Supreme Head of the Church of England and the cancellation of his marriage to Catherine of Aragon. After that they he was condemned for the crime and got executed
