Intraspecific competition is when members of the same species compete for resources.

Using this definition, we know that:

1) competition is "compete", which is the latter half of the answer.

this leaves Intraspecific's definition in the beginning half of the answer

Intraspecific means "[something] existing within a species or individuals"

hope this helps
