PLEASE HELP!! imagine a mountain climber dangling from a rope off a cliff her climbing partner holds the other end of the rope trying hard to keep the mountain climber from sliding down if the dangling climber moves downward she’ll pull her partner sideways. how does the motion of the climbers compare to the motion of an oceanic plate that is sinking into the mantle ?
