Hence x,y are positive only

Next is y intercept = 2500 and y increases continuously after that.

This implies y >=2500

Hence range is C>2500

Domain is the no of jars of peanut butter.

Hence j>0

In other words, 2500 is the fixed cost even when there is no production and cost cannot be less than 2500 at any time.

Production can be any number of jars from 0 onwards.
