Answer: B). Vitamin D

Vitamin D will be deficient in the body because of a lack of exposure to sunlight.

Vitamin D is also called as Calciferol. It is a fat soluble vitamin. The sunlight is a direct source of vitamin D, other sources includes oily fish, meat, liver, and egg yolk. This vitamin is required by the body for growth and development of bones, teeth and muscles. It regulates the calcium and phosphate metabolism in the body. The deficiency of vitamin D can cause bone deformities like rickets in children, and pain in the bone a condition called as osteomalacia, found in adults.
