If the outlier is removed, what is the mean of the data set below

Based on the data set: 21, 23, 19, 25, 83, 23, 21...83 is clearly the outlier

To find the mean, all we have to do is add up all the remaining numbers (since we got rid of the 83) then divide them by how many numbers were added

21 + 23 + 19 + 25 + 23 + 21 = 132

Now we divide 132 by how many numbers were added (6)

132 ÷ 6 = 22

Therefore, the mean of the data set is 22
