Describe a principle that the philosophies of John Locke, Montesquieu, and Rousseau have in common

Answer:

It was agreed that nations would be based on social institutions, or what Montesquieu saw as a legislation discussing the laws of the country and defining what rights citizens and the State have. Locke, Rousseau and Montesquieu agreed on this.
