Brenda has $43 in the bank. Each month the bank deducts $5 from her account for a service fee.

Which equation represents the dollar amount, d, in her account after m months?

d = 43 - 5m
d = 43m - 5
d = 5m - 43
d = 5 - 43m
Please show your work, it is very important

Okay so this is how is goes....

If you have 43$ in your bank account and you deduct 5 dollars a month it would be d=43-5m

Meaning every month(M) it takes 5 dollars away

so if you had 43$ and i took away 5(m)

it would be d=43-5m

Hope this helps

To find the equation,we can first find the amount being deducted from the original amount($43).

As $5 is deducted each month,to find the amount deducted by m month we can multiply 5 by m,which makes:

5 x m
=5m

While d is the final answer,the amount being deducted will remain unchange as well in the equation as nothing is mentioned about it.

To form the equation, 5m is deducted from 43,making the equation:

d = 43-5m

Therefore, the answer is d = 43-5m.

Hope it helps!
