How does bias affect the work of historians

Bias effects the work of historians by the way they portray the truth of the story.
Ex: a crazy neoNazi would think that Hitler did great things, create Germany's highway system, fight against animal cruelty, etc... however a Holocaust victim would think completely different, for obvious reasons.
