I think it’s c) a transverse wave is made of particles that move perpendicular to the motion of the wave

In longitudinal waves,the particles of the medium move back and forth along the direction of propagation of waves. In transverse waves,the particles of the medium is perpendicular to the direction of propagation of waves.
