Slope is
(rise)/(run), and in this case, the rise is 0, as the line is horizontal. Therefore, the slope is 0, as the run cannot be 0; the line is moving indefinitely.

However, if the line was vertical (up and down), the slope would be undefined, as the run would be 0, and you cannot divide by 0.
