Providing real data will always be the best method of incorporating evidence. Summarizing and paraphrasing will be redundant at some point, you're not getting anywhere but the same place... what you need is to convince, to prove, and these two aren't helpful whatsoever.

Quoting is a good method for adding up to facts, evidence, and data but definitely not as form of a hard fact to convince or prove something. Just to add or/and sum up to what we already have.
