Hi there!

example of additon problem:

n+2=3

2+n=3

3=n+2

3=2+n

we can change this by:

3-2=n

n=3-2

Therefore, if you want to find the answer of a addition problem, reverse the equaltipn into subtraction..

You can write a subtraction problem as a division problem by subtracting one of the addends from the sum, then your other addend would be the answer.

Example :

5 + 6 = 11

11 - 5 = 6
