Question

my son is in the first grade. I did not understand what the teacher is asking him to do. Does he have to answer the addition questions only? Can somebody please explain what he has to do. Thank you

I believe the teacher is doing add on 2

that is 5 + 2 = 7

then 7 + 2 =9 → 9 + 2 = 11 → 11 + 2 = 13 etc.

This also develops pattern recognition
