The correct answer is the Siege at the Alamo had strengthened their resolution to fight.

The Siege of the Alamo is about the Battle of the Alamo which took place between February 23 – March 6, 1836. Mexican soldiers surrounded the Alamo Mission and that has been defended by a small number o troops of Texans and Tejanos and most of the defenders were killed during the battle.
