Since tone is the attitude of the writer towards the subject or audience and it’s kind of set up to make you feel what the writer is feeling turning their mood into yours

(This is more or less what I remember from class)

I believe that the answer would be 'A'. Tone can be expressed in many different ways and it is all based on how the author feels about the subject.
