This is because nonpoint source pollution doesn't have a definite single source, hence making it harder to trace back. It oftentimes come from things that are commonly done; such as using pesticides, littering, and construction.

Answer:

Non point pollution source is very difficult to control as there is is no specific source generating the pollution.

The pollutant comes from various sources. This is not practically possible to control multiple sources of pollutant at the same time.

IF the source of pollution is one then it is quite easy to control but if the source is non point is cannot be easily controlled.
