if f(x)=1/2x+2 find f(-2) and f(6) can someone shoe me the steps to get an answer ?i have a test retake soon

fx = 1/2x + 2
f X x = 1/2 + 2
f = (1/2 + 2) / x #

f(-2) = -2(1/2 + 2) / -2(x)
-2f = (-1 - 4) / -2x #


f(6) = 6(1/2+2) / 6(x)
6f = 3 + 12 / 6x #

Just remember : 6f is = 6 x f

So if they ask you for f(6), it means f times all numbers in the bracket individually.
