Do you think that individuals accused of crimes should be able to use an insanity defense? Why or why not?

I think people should be allowed to plead insanity, but to do so they need to have psych evaluations to determine whether that is true or not, and if it isn’t, they should then have the crime of lying in court against them as well.

I personally do because some people are actually insane if they think that killing someone is OK.
