The area of a square garden is 50 m ^2 . How long is the diagonal?

If area = 50 sq meters then

side = sq root (50) = 7.0710678119

diagonal^2 = 7.0710678119^2 + 7.0710678119^2

diagonal^2 = 50 + 50 = 100

diagonal = 10 meters
