Trace elements such as iron, iodine, fluoride, copper, zinc, and molybdenum (and much more) are very important for maintaining health. We only need very small amounts. They are also reffered as microminerals, these elements are part of enzymes, hormones and cells that we need in the body. Without these small amounts of trace elements, our body starts to show symptoms of nutrition deficiency.

hope this helps!
