I answered your question in the other one that you might have made the mistake. But even though their dimensions and shapes are different, they can still have the same area.

Yes, it can be true that, shape of two geometrical shapes are different but, they have same area.

→For example , Consider a plot of land which is in the shape of Isosceles Triangle , having base length 8 cm and length of Perpendicular 4 units.Then Area of Triangle


=(1)/(2) * \text{Base} * \text{Height}\\\\=(1)/(2) * 8 * 4\\\\=16 \text{Square unit}

→Now, Consider another plot of land which is in the shape of Square having side length 4 cm.

Then, Area of Square =Side × Side

=4×4

=16 square unit
