Question: Simplify 15(20-4)

Step-by-step explanation: There is numerous ways to go about this but I find that using PEMDAS is the easiest. The P in PEMDAS stands for parentheses so we do 20 minus 4 first, which is equal to 16. We go down to the M which stands for multiplication. 16 times 16 equals 256.

Answer: 16(20-4) = 256
