Drive is the maximum excitation and internal inspiration of an individual to accomplish a particular goal. Clark Hull was an American psychologist who used scientific laws of behavior to explain learning and motivation. According to the drive theory, drives are likely to increase after some time and functions on a feedback control system, similar to a thermostat.
