To solve for
r, we are going to want to get it on one side of the equation by itself, or isolate it. To do this, we can divide both sides of our equation by π, as shown below:


C = \pi r


(C)/(\pi) = (\pi r)/(\pi)


\boxed{(C)/(\pi) = r}


We can see that r = C/pi.
