How have smart phones and texting language changed communication and professionalism? For example, Is it OK to send your boss a message "K" ? or " Txt you later" or " brb" or "LOL"

It probably isn't good to send K, BRB, LOL stuff like that to a boss, because usually those K, BRB, LOL are usually used for texting for fun, you better not use k, brb, or lol when you are texting with someone important...! lol

It would never be okay to send your boss that type of response. It's all about texting etiquette.. and well, texting back, "K" or "Txt you later" isn't it chief.
