FORMULA:

Slope = rise / run

= (8 - 6) / ( 8 - 4)

Subtract 8 from 6, first. Secondly, you subtract 8 from 4. SO you will get,

= 2 /4 .

Simplify!

= and you will get 1/2 as your answer!
