3x - 2y = 12 -----: ( 1 )
6x - 4y = 24 -----: ( 2 )



Now,

= > 24 = 24

= > 2( 12 ) = 24

= > 2( 3x - 2 y ) = 6x - 4y

= > 6x - 4y = 6x - 4y




RHS = LHS

Hence, the equation has infinitely many solutions.
