How do you defferintiate between prinsil and stamen

Stamens are the units of androecium which is male reproductive whorl of the flower while pistils are the units of gynoecium which is the female reproductive whorl of the flower.

Each stamen has two parts namely anther and the filament. The anther is present at the top of the filament. pollen grains are produced in the anther.
